Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions from our customers both in Denmark and abroad. This page is updated regularly with relevant information.
PRODUCTS
Where can I find your size guide?
Our shoes are handmade, which means sizing may vary slightly depending on the sole and last used. For our newer shoes, you will find the "Fitting" tab with relevant sizing information. The same applies to our clothing, although this information may not be available for older styles. If you need measurements for a specific style, please send us an email at info@lofina.dk and we will be happy to assist you.
Where are your shoes and clothing produced?
All production is made in EU. LOFINA products are carefully crafted by hand in Italy, while Sort Aarhus products are handmade in Portugal. Both brands are produced using carefully selected local materials and high-quality craftsmanship.
Do you ship used shoes to customers?
Our shoes are not used. Many styles are hand-polished to achieve their distinctive raw look. Collection samples may occasionally have been used for photoshoots; if so, this will be clearly stated in the product description.
SHIPPING
Where can I find your shipping rates?
Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.
For deliveries within Denmark, shipping to a parcel shop is free on orders of DKK 1,000 or more. Orders below DKK 1,000 are charged the standard parcel shop shipping fee (DKK 49).
You may also choose:
- Home delivery (DKK 69)
- Business address delivery (DKK 59)
- Collection from our head office in Odder during opening hours (DKK 0)
Which countries do you ship to?
As a general rule, we ship to most countries both within and outside the EU (subject to current global circumstances). If your country is not available as a shipping destination, please contact us at info@lofina.dk.
Which shipping carriers do you use?
For shipments within the EU, as well as Switzerland and Norway, we use GLS. For destinations outside the EU, as well as France, we use DHL and UPS.
What are your opening hours?
Our head office is open:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
RETURNS/EXCHANGE
Can I return sale items?
Yes. Sale items are subject to the same return policy as full-price items, which is a 14-day return period from the date you receive your order.
What is your return procedure?
Denmark: A GLS return label is included with your order and may be used for returns. If you choose to use the enclosed return label, a return fee of DKK 49 will be deducted from your refund.
Abroad: You take care of the return yourself, also return costs are on the consumer's costs.
A return form is also included and should be completed with your order number and the reason for the return.
The shipping bag is reusable and can be used for your return shipment.
We aim to process returned items on the same day, or the next business day after they are received at our warehouse (excluding busy periods and holiday seasons).
How do I exchange an item?
If you want to exchange an item to a different size or style, please place a new order and return the items, you do not want to keep, for refund.

Where can I find your list of retailers in Denmark and abroad?
Our retailer list is not publicly available on lofina.com. Please feel free to email us at info@lofina.dk or call us at +45 6155 0035, and we will be happy to provide information about your nearest retailer, both in Denmark and internationally.
Please note that the selection of LOFINA and Sort Aarhus products varies from retailer to retailer, and you should not expect to find the same assortment as on lofina.com.
Can I visit Odder to try your products?
Please email us at info@lofina.dk to book an appointment in our fitting room, where personal assistance is included.
Procedure: Place an order for the items you would like to try on. This ensures that the products are reserved and prepared before your arrival at the agreed time. We will only finalize the order and charge your payment once you have selected the items you wish to take home (including any adjustments to the order).
Do you have a showroom for private customers?
Unfortunately, we do not have a showroom for our private customers. Please refer to the section above regarding appointments in our fitting room.
